Keene Pumpkinfest Day Parade! Kids and Pets Costume Parade

Parade participants to start arriving at North Shore Public School at 10:00 am the parade will start rolling at10:30 am going from the School and finishing at the Otonabee South Monaghan Arena.

Anyone wishing to contribute a carved (or painted) pumpkin for display,
please drop it off at the bleachers by Friday at 2:00 p.m."Everyone is encouraged to bring a carved pumpkin for the pumpkin pyramid to be lit at dusk and prizes will be awarded"

Pumpkin Baking Competition

1)    Pumpkin Pie    (open to all ages)
All  entries to be received at Keene Firehall kitchen on Saturday, 22 October 2016 between the hours of 10:30 a.m. & 11:00 a.m. 2 pies required – 1 for judging & 1 for auction

Pies to be judged on appearance; crust; filling; originality; taste
Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3 rd.

2) Pumpkin Cookies (open to ages 12 & under)

All entries to be received at Keene firehall  kitchen on Saturday, 24 October 2015 between the hours of 10:30 a.m. & 11:00 a.m.

15 cookies required – 3 for judging & 1 doz.  for auction

Cookies will be judged  on:  appearance; originality; taste; texture

Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Judging will begin at 11:15 a.m.

Prizes will be awarded! Judging will take place in the firehall.. Bring out your best pumpkin pie! Please cover with plastic (saran) and put your name on the bottom of
the plate.
